BE KIND AND COMPASSIONATE TO ONE ANOTHER, FORGIVING EACH OTHER, JUST AS IN CHRIST GOD
FORGAVE YOU. ( EPHESIANS 4:32 *NIV )
It is easy for us to ask God for forgiveness, but we often find it very difficult to forgive others. Therefore when you find yourself angry with someone and thinking about revenge, remember that it is written; DO NOT TAKE REVENGE, MY FRIENDS, BUT LEAVE ROOM FOR GODS WRATH, FOR IT IS WRITTEN: "IT IS MINE TO AVENGE; I WILL REPAY, SAYS THE LORD!" ( ROMANS 12:19 )
After all our Savoir Jesus Christ gave us this warning as well; "FOR IF YOU FORGIVE MEN WHEN THEY SIN AGAINST YOU, YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER WILL ALSO FORGIVE YOU. BUT IF YOU DO NOT FORGIVE MEN THEIR SINS, YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER WILL NOT FORGIVE YOUR SINS." ( MATTHEW 6:14-15 )
Therefore; FORGET THE FORMER THINGS; DO NOT DWELL IN THE PAST. ( ISAIAH 43:18 ) For the past is gone
and no one can change it anyway! All we can do is make today the best that we can by forgiving our enemies, just as God has forgiven us!.
So why not make peace with those who may have angered you, remembering the Words of our Savior Jesus
Christ; "BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS: FOR THEY SHALL BE CALLED THE CHILDREN OF GOD!" Amen.
